Locomotion. Thers's a certain irony that the oldest (Locomotion) and most modern (Tornado) locomotives on display were both steam engines.

Pictures were a compromise between not obstructing others, avoiding people in front and trying not too include the OHL gantry. Considering this, the results aren't too bad!!

0-6-0 Saddle Tank Peckett No. 1 gets under steam. This loco marked the return of a Birmingham Industrial steam engine for the first time in 21 years.

9600 with a litte exhaust!!

0-6-0PT 9600 operated shuttles along the demonstration line, with varyin degrees of exhaust. Views from here were at a premium. There should have been much better visibility for more people!!
